‘Vishwa Bandhutva Party’ floats as new political party at J&K – The Chenab Times

Jammu and Kashmir has witnessed many new political parties since the repeal of Article 370, be it Jammu and Kashmir Apni Party, Aam Aadmi Party or Democratic Azad Party. Many of these parties have made headlines for prominent figures and some for controversies. However, there are various other political parties which have not made the headlines but are established and working in Jammu and Kashmir. Similarly, on November 6, 2022, the Vishwa Bandhutva Party (the Global Brotherhood Party in English) launched its J&K unit. This political outfit was registered just a year ago, according to the Election Commission of India.

VDP JK-UT Chairman Virender Kumar Sharma explained the party platforms to the Chenab Times in a video interview. The Vishwa Bandhutva Party, or Global Brotherhood Party, launched its party unity for J&K’s UT with an agenda for J&K which was written on the UT President’s notepad, a copy of which can be found at Chenab Times. There were nine items on the agenda, including:

  1. The party works primarily for the betterment of the working class. Improved labor wages, better workplace, special pension scheme, health insurance, safety of their children, academic and vocational education, minimum ex gratia relief of Rs.15 ,00,000/- if a worker dies while on the job and adjusted monthly fees to living friends and relatives of the deceased worker. Better housing and health support at the Center and UT levels.
  2. The party will fight from road to court law to protect the living places (houses) of families who live under BPL, EWS, ST, OBC, SC, etc. Who built their houses on state land with a land measurement less than 05 Marlas. The party has personal lawyers who will litigate the cases of the above categories from party funds and if the party comes to power in UT, it will regularize these settlements/homelands as a settlement of sustainable human existence.
  3. The youths of this (UT) are repeatedly crushed and harassed by the current government adapting the repeated cancellation of selection lists. Our party will fight against this central government approach. and the LG administration to pass laws to prevent any deterioration in the careers of young people in the future. Our party will approach: the Supreme Court of India with a PIL to seek redress from the youths in the future selection process.
  4. In the villages of this (UT) 60% of young people are now unemployed. If our party comes to power, it will set up community industrial units at Panchyat level depending on the availability of raw materials in that Panchyat to provide employment for those 60% of young people to prevent them from indulging in drugs and drugs. criminal activities.
  5. If our party comes to power, a survey of “real poor people” in rural Jammu and Kashmir UT will be conducted and families under this category will be accommodated by our government. and all their subsistence needs are managed under the program named “Mera Aahar Mera Adhikaar” in addition to that, youth employment (one job at least) is given to educated young people from poor families according to their qualification under another savings program for young people “Mera Rozgaar Mera Adhikaar”.
  6. Jammu and Kashmir (UT) is a powerhouse of India as it has intensive hydropower potential. Our party will support local businesses/enterprises in this UT to undertake the construction works of hydroelectric power projects by making laws under which tenders will not be allowed to businesses/enterprises living outside of UT . The youth of this UT would be trained to operate all types of machinery and should be offered full-scale employment. security and pension deemed appropriate.
  7. Our party will not participate in those media programs where religious debates take place. The party has labeled a human soul voter and will only use the word “Human/Insaan” instead of Caste of and Individual/voter.
  8. Our party, if it comes to power, will sign memorandums of understanding with foreign countries to provide global jobs for our youth. The party takes full responsibility for young people going out of the country for jobs i.e. passport, visa, insurance, security and special intention would be given to young people of J&K (UT) as a measure of healing program .
  9. There is a need to rehabilitate Jammu and Kashmir (UT) in real sense as the last thirty years have killed a thousand souls of this state. All humans have passed through an unrepaired and unforgettable time. UT must return to its original form i.e. statehood, repair fraternity confidence building measures Youth employment, revive trade, build modern industries and the rehabilitation of all humans dislodged from their sweet homes.
